Daddy is away, so it's time to play!

Yes, Daddy had to go away on business for a long weekend.  We have missed him!  

Lilly wanted to share some new tricks with him and everyone else.

Sitting is not all Lilly has been working on.  This weekend she has started to play around with more sounds.  She is now saying "Dada".  For whatever reason, she will only whisper it at the moment, so listen carefully.  (I love her face when the video starts...hahahaha)

7 months old!

Lilly is 7 months old now and so much fun!  

She is a rolling machine!  She is very quick with her rolls and we can no longer leave her alone on the floor.  ;)  She's a very happy baby.  All the smiles, giggles and belly laughs are so fun to hear each day!  We also get a good laugh when she plays with her feet and sticks them into her mouth.  She has now been able to sit on her own and looks like she has beginning skills for crawling (baby proofing will need to start in our house!).

Lilly is now going to our sitter full time.  She seems to be doing very well there and is always full of smiles when I come to pick her up.

Last Days of Summer

This past weekend we had a surprise birthday party for Grandma Delores!  Lilly was excited to put on her party dress and join in the fun.

Well, the summer is slipping by and soon I will be going back to school.  I feel so lucky to have been able to have my summer off  with Lilly!  We have been trying to enjoy every minute together and I've been trying to take a bunch of pictures to bring with me to school.

I'm helping Mommy type all the kids names.

Recently Lilly and I met up with some great ladies and a handsome young man (Colin).  The mommies designed purses at Lill and then we all enjoyed a great lunch together. 

Our Grandmas came too!  Isn't that so fun!?

After a fun day out designing purses and lunching with friends, Lilly enjoyed some silly time with Daddy and Tessa!

A bunch of Mommy's work friends all got together for a picnic.  Rory and I had fun too, even on this hot day.

Our good friends just welcomed a baby girl into their family.  We couldn't be happier for them.  Anna and Lilly are sure to be best friends.

Anna is a little over 7 lbs. it's hard to remember that Lilly was even smaller than this when we brought her home!

Mr. Kurt was pretty fun to hang out with too.

Lilly now has her "big girl" furniture in the third bedroom.  It looks great and has been nice to have as a guest room already.  

I love my new bed!  These fuzzy friends are pretty fun to play with too!

With another PGA tournament this week, Daddy is pretty excited for more golf and yet another family pool!
