Hello Friends! - Goodbye January

"Yay! I finally got to meet my Auntie Ashley & my Cousin Gwen."

This is my Uncle Brad.  Thanks for driving up the crew to visit!

This is Peter... I think he likes me.
My Dad's buddy, and also new papa, Phil and I.
Angie and I also hung out.  Thank you for the great dinners you guys!

This is my buddy Leslie, I hope she has a little girl for me to play with.

This Kurt dude is one cool cat, I bet he is a Hoosier.

Oh I can't forget to tell you about Jane, she is the coolest!
She got me these super sweet sockie shoes,
I can't wait to wear them out on the town.

Aunt Laura Jo took the time to say hello.

Daddy said we are watching the super bowl next week, so
I am practicing my touchdown signs.

Phew!  This was a busy month, I am going to bed.
Elmo, will you watch over me?

One Week Old and Changing

Lilly has turned one week old this week... doesn't she look more mature and sophisticated?
She has been hanging mostly with Mommy and Grandma C, doing a little snack time with some nap time.
Thanks Grandma C for helping Erin out this week.

One Week Older and Wiser

More change occurred when in a recent development it now appears that Lilly has rescinded her verbal commitment to Indiana University and said she is now considering all options, especially the Butler U.  Mostly she likes the idea of Butler because they have a bulldog and besides... she still can't figure out what a hoosier is.

Lilly is keeping her collegiate options open and has not yet declared her major.

A special shout out to all of you that have been so kind to drop off dinners, snacks and such.  I assure you... they went very close to my heart.

Seriously, she is already tanner than
both mom and dad combined... by a lot.
What's up with that?

It's Cousin Time!

K-man hanging with all the chickies.
Lots of sisters/cousins = lots of their cute girlfriends.
Lilly meets Ironman Andrew for the first time.

If Lilly isn't well dressed, it certainly won't be Allison and Leroy's fault.
Thanks for the cute outfits!

Our future babysitter extraordinaire practices her tact.
Remember, practice makes perfect Little E.

Sassanator takes a break from scoring goals to give Lil' a little tip.

K-man does a fine job holding Cousin Lilly.

and Kman tries to remember what it was
like to be the baby in the family.

Meeting More Buddies and Coming Home

Wow what a busy week this has been for Lilly, all these people to meet, places to be.
I can't wait to get home and take a nap while my parents are awake and then
stay up when they are supposed to sleep.

Meet my Auntie Jean, she is so cool and if my hair gets curly,
she and Allison can help me with styling tips.

Leroy aka '3', stopped in to say hey.

Auntie Helen seems like she is a lot of fun, I bet she
organizes slurping contests and parades.

This is my Great Grandma Delores.

My Uncle Keith stopped in and gave me some legal advice.

4 Generations

Well time to go home, I think I'll wear my duckie outfit.

Mom, make sure the belts are tight, I don't want to slip out.

Hanging at home with Daddy.  He says that if I don't cry, then I can hold the remote!

Kerry and Colleen swung by to make sure that I was behaving.

Colleen brought me some cool clothes in Mizzou colors.
Do you think that is a coincidence?

Grandma McKenzie stopped by again to drop off lasagna and curtains.
I am starting to like her a lot.

And the nursery is now complete, valance and all.
Thanks Grandma for your sewing skills.

If I am nice to Howard, maybe he'll take me on the Harley.

 Home sweet home!

Peace at last.

 Baby's asleep, let's eat!!!
Time for Grandma's Famous Lasagna.
Eat your heart out Uncle Dan.
We won't save you any, but we'll be
thinking of you while we eat it.

And we have a winner!

Congratulations to
Barb Wendt!!!

She is the winner of the 50/50 Baby Mac Pool!!!
Barb wins $90 by picking 4 of 5 categories correct. She only erred in length. Wow, great picking Barb.
As you know the other $90 will go towards Lilly's college fund.

1st Place - Barb Wendt 13 Pts $90
2nd Place - Grandpa "Bubba" Casey 12 pts (3 free opportunities to babysit Lilly!)
3rd Place - Emily Gibson 11pts (2 free opportunities to babysit Lilly!)
*the rest of the results are attached

An honorable mention goes out to Christine Long, who is the only person who picked Lilly's Bday.

Thank you for supporting Lilly's pursuit of higher education!!!
Can you guess where she is going??

Hoo Hoo Hoo Hoosiers!

It's a Girl!!!! Welcome Lillian Grace

And then there were 3.

Lilly, formerly known as "Baby Mac", sports the burrito look on opening day.

Mom glows as she knows she gets to meet baby soon.

A picture is worth a thousand words

Lilly trying her own words, especially the "wah" word.

Lilly takes an instant liking to her Grandma Casey.

And she senses Grandpa Casey is one cool dude as well.

Grandma McKenzie talks girl talk, while Papa's spirit is surely shining down.

So I offered to catch right, and Erin says
"Grab some bench kid, I am going to go with the pros on this one."

After 9 months, I finally had my chance to
hold my new daughter Lilly.
We can't wait for all of you to meet our new little one.
Hope to see you soon!
Love, Don & Erin

Due Date's Eve

Could it be? The due date is tomorrow? It's true, and now it is time to see if b-Mac will be timely or fashionably late. Early has left the building.

The Cousins-to-be can't wait to embrace their new role. Remember, no teaching b-Mac any funny business.
