Carving It Up

Lilly enjoyed carving pumpkins and decorating one of her own this weekend.
Mommy and Daddy couldn't carve fast enough for this little cheese ball.

The weekend kicked off with the Glen Ellyn parade and trick or treating in the stores.  Molly was great at showing Lilly all the secrets!

Goldilocks, Cheetah Girl, "We-Go", Effie Trinket, 7th Grader, Mama Bear and Baby Bear

Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Don and I had fun dressing up for an adult party.  Lilly liked our costumes as well.

My moms group that has turned into some wonderful friendships!
It was a fun party with great friends!

Halloween wasn't the only fun this weekend...

Kenneth is now 7 months old!  :)
Poor guy has a nasty cold this weekend.  He definitely isn't his normal smiley self, but still such a cutie!

Really Mom...I'm just not that into it today!

Butler Homecoming 2012

This weekend was Butler's homecoming and my 10 year reunion.  We took the kids and stayed with great friends.

I took a picture in front of this bulldog after Mom and Dad moved me into my dorm, freshman year, can't believe it was 14 years ago!  It was so much fun to show my family around campus now!

Our good friends, the Worthingtons

Lilly loved all the activities they had for the kids!
She might think that Butler is a big amusement park.

Brayden climbed up the VERY high slide!

Oh to be back in college...

Mom, I think this Butler place is GREAT!

Possibly a future DG?

 Cheering on the chariot races...

The Worthingtons take a quick stop and get a picture near their Butler brick.

Lilly wanted to arrange our family around the Worthington brick as well.  hahaha

It was such a great weekend and tons of a fun to see old friends!

Our Pumpkins

 Happy Halloween everyone!
We decided to dodge rain drops and managed to squeak in a trip
to the pumpkin patch before the rain did.
In the above photo, Kenneth demonstrates it is never too early to
give your big sister a wet willy.

Lilly found one of her tallest buddies and decided to feed him some carrots.
Carrots?  There not just for bunnies anymore.

Mom and Kenneth spy something orange.

Mmm, this looks yummy. Better get it while its hot!

Watch out Winnie! She's gonna get your Hunny!

Which one of these pumpkins doesn't belong?

And Daddy Bear's Chair was too big.

After the Patch, we watched Kenny soccer it up and then the Gibs came over to party.
Here Molly gets her Kenneth fix.

Notice anything odd in this picture???
If you said 'candles' you are onto something.
We find the only way to eat cupcakes is by candlelight.
Especially when the power goes out mid party.

So do you think the pumpkin patch, soccer game and Gib party was enough to wear down our little red headed wonder?

"I'm tired and I know it"
Well it depends on which red-headed wonder you are talking about.  :)

It's Getting Spooky!

It's that time of year!!!  We leave Lilly alone for one second and the next thing we know, there is a giant monster on our front door.  The kid is good.  In related news, Tessa now will only use the back door.

6 months already?!

Kenneth is now 6 months old!
He's busy sitting up on his own, rolling from his tummy to his back, chewing on his toes, and laughing up a storm especially at anything Lilly is doing.

Don enjoyed watching the Ryder Cup this week.
Thank you for taking a few of us with you on our different days.  :)
Wish the US team would have had a different outcome!

I enjoyed watching the golf as well as people watching!  :)

While Daddy and Bubba were at the Ryder Cup, the kids and I had a fun day with Mimi.  Lilly was a busy chef in the kitchen.

Kenneth liked grabbing Bubba's ears.

And for you Tangled fans... Lilly does her best rendition of the theme song in the video below.
