A Hard Days Work

Hope everyone is having a great spring!  Mother nature has finally provided us some nice weather and tulips.  Lilly was sure to pluck the first tulip out of the ground.  Must be a kid thing.  See flower, destroy flower.

Anyway, the theme of this post seems to be a hard days work as Lilly took field trips to both Mommy and Daddy's offices.

First stop Mommy's office!!!  Here activites galore were explored.
This is definitely a fun place for kids with lots of pretty colors.

Next up Daddy's office!  "Let's go Daddy, I'll drive."
Danica only has 13 more years left in the limelight.

Hmmm, this place is not as colorful as Mommy's school.  Suddenly I feel like making calls and pounding out some emails.  Daddy says if I get three deals, then I get a treat.

"Next up, I was to run my first board meeting.  I needed a tight agenda.

"Here is my aggressive agenda.  It was a bold strategy, but the board approved."

In the end, Dad's office was not nearly as fun as Mommy's, Lilly thought it was a good bit of fun.  She ran laps, colored, rode the scooter, and raided candy bowls.  Further, with her princess brain in full effect, she thought the lobby was a palace and she was going to the ball.  One can only hope her future experience with work will be as fun.

In the next blog, we'll feature Kenneth's favorite thing.  What do you think it is?

A Balanced Month

This month has been well balanced with an assortment of activities for the MacPack.
We went zooing, dancing, parking, and even sent some mail to Uncle Sam.

Our April flowers keep dancing.  After they mastered the paper plates, Sheri had them use the glass.

Kenneth is still smiling and getting really good at crawling, pulling up, and standing.
His overall speed is getting good as well.  Steps are next on his radar and we are probably a month away.

In the below video, Lilly and Kenneth do anything but wind down for nap time.

Lilly and Daddy went to check out Ken's tree.  It is looking good!
What a difference a decade makes.

Cheese!

After we hugged the tree, Lilly and I had the good fortune of catching a ball game.
The wind was gusting out... so it was 3-9 in the bottom of the third.

Lilly and Mommy send some bubbles Kenneth's way.

"Hey.  Do you know any good stories? Giraffe and I could use a good laugh."

Hoppy Easter! 2013

Happy Easter everyone! We hope you all dominated your Easter egg hunts and
remembered to share some candy with the kiddos.
Lilly gave the egg hunts her very best.  Kenneth, on the other hand, was so enamored with
egg #1 that he didn't bother to look for more.

Lilly at 3y and Kenneth at 1y.

First take!  Good job Mommy.
What did she bribe them with?  Nobody knows.

We hopped over to Grammy's crib to start the festivities with Don's favorite meal.

Uncle Dan still knows how to make Kenneth laugh.

Lilly and Gwen take time to pose before the big hunt.

Where's Wyatt?  Napping while the grand kids cozy up to Mimi and Bubba.

Bubba reads Cinderella to his latest generation of princesses.

Wyatt relaxes before the big hunt.

Happy Birthday to all our March and April Birthdays!

Is your flexibility in the pits?
Kenneth says try sleeping in the splits.

Pop Pop Pop... Bubbles Beware.

Bubble beware, Lilly is on the prowl and will pop you!
Do not hover low for this is her sweet spot.
Float away and float away fast or else...

The below video shows what happens to bubbles that enter the no fly zone.

1 Our Hungry Little Caterpillar Turns One!! 1

Happy Birthday Kenneth!!!  Our big guy turned one and is crawling around, clapping, and chewing on anything he can get his paws on.  His tooth count is up to seven and his smiles are too many to count.  He will weigh in tomorrow, but we think he is only 3 lbs behind his 3 year old sister.
Below are some snapshots from his party.  Thank you to everyone who came to show their love.
"I'm One.  How old do you think I'll be when the Cubs win the world series?"
One Happy Caterpillar... that is until we start devouring his likeness.

Below the family sings to Big K.

Everyone knows Lilly sings better when her hair is done.
Mommy does the styling, while Lilly counts how old Kenneth is on her fingers.

Before Cake...
 After Cake.  :(
And the family brings his smile back.
 Dos Mamis y Amigos Dos
Grammy gives her youngest Grandkid a good squeeze.
Mimi and Bubba came, they saw, they partied.

Aunt Sondra strikes again.  Lilly will look extra sassy at dance class...
and wherever else she decides to wear her new tutu.
The only thing better than one Kenneth is two Kenneths.
If the Gibs had one more... this is what it would look like.
Except Kenneth would be wearing Crimson.
"Wait.  Come back.  I'm not ready for bed.  Let's party!"
