Kenneth is Five Months Old!

Kenneth is 5 Months Old!!!  My oh my how time flies.

Our Big Boy turned 5 months old.  He likes to flash the smiles around and enjoys a good laugh.
He tells us that next month 6 he plans on working on his rolling and crawling.

We got to meet our newest family member, Baby William!
Congratulations Lindsay and Andrew!

William was super cuddly and very relaxed.

"How you doin?"

Ahhhhh!  I love the zoo!!!!  Daddy does too!

Sometimes Kenneth will flash a brow furrow that reminds me a lot of Papa Albert.
The haircut also adds to the familiarity.

Our Little Gymnast

Lilly and her buddy Julia just finished their gymnastics class and had a flipping good time.  There was balancing, rolling summering and salting.  The bars were even and uneven and anything to be scaled was properly scaled.  She definitely learned some new tricks and is ready to head to the playground with a little more swagger in her step.  Great job Lilly!
Julia and Lilly pose with Coach Nikki and Coach Kara.

Here Gymnast Lilly runs like a hamster, sometimes falling down.

Tessa dog is 10 days away from her surgery and doing great.  She has more energy.  Can you tell by the picture?  But seriously, she is doing great and on the mend.

So apparently Lilly is trying to corner the colored tennis ball market or she is trying to make Tessa feel better with a well timed present.  She must be unaware of the law of diminishing returns.

Kenneth is thrilled to have his buddy Tessa back.  However, he did mention it was nice having the floor all to himself for a couple days.

Lilly has been potty training hard for a while now and finally had a break thru.  Due to her success, she was awarded the coveted Ariel doll.  One has to know their kids levers.

Here Lilly proudly stands next to her conquered thrown.

Baby Kenneth continues to eat, drink, sleep, and you know.  Recently he discovered his toes and very much enjoys playing with them.

Post Op Pup

Tessa had a tough week, undergoing the knife to restore here breathing to somewhat normal.  Everything went very well and now she is focusing on recovery.  The eventful week really did exhaust her and as you can see by the picture below... she is now hitting the naps pretty hard.  I am very jealous  of the nap time.  After a day or so, when the doc's said it would be the worst, she is actually pretty full of energy so we are happy.

Dreaming of tails to chase.

Here our Munchkin #1 does her silo reading time.  Literally, she grabs books, sits in the up-ended tunnel and reads.  When she is done with the books, she grabs more and re-enters the silo of silence.  Whatever keeps her reading is okay by me.  Read on kiddo.

A Tessa Tune Up

Tessa took some time out of her busy schedule to go in for a tune up today.
She had a case of laryngeal paralysis and underwent surgery at 1030am today to help her cause.
The surgery went very well, but she will not be out of the woods for another 48 hours.
To read more about her condition, here is a great website:

Assuming all goes as plans, Tessa looks forward to seeing you at a park near you.

It's Potty Time

This summer Mother Erin has embarked on a brave journey known as potty training.  Lilly, being the 2 year old, is who we decided to start with giving Kenneth a little more time to process the concept.  Thus far, she likes her potty parties and is taking to her new activities quite nicely and in a predictably inconsistent manner.  When the "big girl" concept doesn't motivate, stickers are brought into play, then jelly beans, then coloring and finally Dora the explorer.  The kid can negotiate and is squeezing all she can out of us and her at the moment.

"Let's Potty!"

The Tempels made the trek to town, so Kenneth and Lilly got to hang with their Cousins.

Kenneth has been doing great and is always ready to smile.

Wyatt takes the hot rod for a spin.

Because we didn't think potty training would be difficult enough by itself, we decided to throw in the new big girl bed.  Here you can see Lilly doing what she does in bed... not sleep.  Actually, she uses her sleep time to work on her ballads and work on her range.

When not sleeping, Lilly enjoys peering out her window.  Can you spy the Lilly fish in the picture above?

Goose... eat your heart out!

Tessa, our favorite four legged friend tries to beat the heat by laying low.

Can you guess where Lilly is?
We would have accepted "Under the Sea" or "The Zoo".

Lilly being silly.

K enjoys being vertical these days.
Here he and Tessa talk about their upcoming Fantasy Football draft strategies.

Mimi and Wyatt bond.

The sisters take a time out from the kids to catch up.

Bubba and his grand daughters.
