10 Month's of K!

Our 10 Month Man is ready to grow in months 11 and 12.  When asked what he would like to do differently next month, Kenneth replied "Well, this milk diet is a little tiresome.  I think in month eleven I will start using my two teeth to chew things.  Hopefully the things I chew are food, but if not, those are the shakes."

"I'm ten months old and it feels great!"

It's all about the hats.

Tessa had her private getaway for all of 30 seconds before the Pink Pistol raided the fort.

"So, how old are you?"

It's Great To Be 3!!!

Lilly was so excited to turn 3!
"I'm THREE, I'm THREE, I'm THREE!"

A fancy breakfast fit for a princess.

Lilly loved all the purple decorations all over the house.  She even woke up to her door being covered with streamers and balloons!

Happy Birthday Sweet Lilly!

Lilly really enjoyed her Purple Princess Party!

Her highness coming in to join her guests.

Mimi and Kenneth enjoying some fun at the party.

Every princess deserves a birthday picnic.

While the boys entertained everyone upstairs...

the girls were up to some funny business downstairs.

The 3 Amigos enjoyed some fun playtime together.

Princess Lilly loved everything about her party: the decorations, the candies, the gifts as well as the special birthday cards!

She is a very lucky girl to be loved so much by all her family!

Lilly was sweet and showed everyone her appreciation.

Prince Kenny was a great sport for such a girlie party.

Lilly couldn't wait to blow out her birthday candles!

The party wouldn't be complete without a princess cake with as much purple on it as possible.

Hmmm...that cake stuff looks pretty good.  Lilly, save me a piece of that!

Lilly's birthday weekend was all about the birthday girl.  She met up with friends and had a great time running around at Little Monkey Bizness.  We also went to the Cosley Zoo!
Getting all bundled up for the zoo.

Lilly and Mommy watching the floppy-earred bunny rabbit.

Everyone being entertained by the ducks.

Lilly had a birthday interview.  It was funny to hear her answers and much harder than we had thought. :)

Our 9 Month Man and Other Happenings

Mr. Kenneth turned 9 months old the other day... and he took it in stride... or I guess I should say he rolled with it.  The strides have not arrived yet, but the giggles and the personality are delivering.  Tonight, he was playing a mean game of peek a boo, hiding behind his hippopotamus.

Being nine month rules.  Here our little man
shows off his new tie and 2 teeth.

Are you sure he isn't 10 months?  He sure is heavy... here you take him.

Congrats to Nathan and Jaclyn on Baby Olivia's arrival!!

The new Grandpa shows off his magic touch.

As far as our little girl... she has been busy trying to be sweet.
After a visit to Taylor's Candy Shop, she wasn't sure
if she could finish the lollipop.  But she was sure
she would give it a try.

"Daddy, can I drive?  Pretty pleeeease"
Here Lilly practices her tact in getting Daddy's car keys.

In other news, today Mr. Furley announced
"The 2012 Tenant of the Year"
Uncle Dan.
Congratulations Uncle Dan!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We enjoyed a fun New Years Eve afternoon!
The past 3 years we have gone to a local pub that does a cute dinner and New Years Eve party that is VERY kid friendly.  We enjoy getting together with our friends and their families.  Who knew we would love a 4:00pm New Years Eve party!

Don and the kiddos ready to start the party!

Lilly enjoyed trying on all the fun dress up options...

Not to be out done by Kenneth.

Right before the count down and balloon drop....Lilly is unsure why there is so much screaming going on at this point.

After dinner we headed over to a friend's house.  Each family got a paper lantern to decorate and write our 2013 wishes on.  Lilly loved coloring it!

The dads were all in charge of lighting and sending off the lanterns.  It was NOT an easy job...

All the kids LOVED watching and cheering for the lanterns!

Don't worry...the lantern caught enough air and lifted up quickly after its little dip.  :)

These gals were the late night partiers.  Here they are posing for a picture before playing another round of glow stick hide and go seek!

We are looking forward to a fun 2013!  Happy New Year!

Can you tell how excited she is?

Lilly couldn't wait to give Mimi and Bubba their gift.

We LOVED every minute of this special holiday!
