Do You Want to Build a Snowdog?

Please put on your hats and mittens, cause this is one chilly blogpost.

With the great powder we received, the kids took to the snowbanks.

It's a snowdog!  Note his head was just knocked off, so he is a little rattled.

Has anyone seen my bottom half?

Wee!  Faster Mommy, faster!

And off to Dance class we go!

So… our alien snowman are a little freaky, but we think the dog makes up for it.

Lilly, Mommy, and Kenneth's creation.

As long as we are talking hats, here is another nice lid Grammy gave to me.
Thank you Grammy!

Lowering the Ears

Kenneth takes a pic with his unwieldy mane prior to heading to the lady with the sheers.
BTW, stripes rule!

Uncle Dan goes along for the big ride.  Ooh rah!

Vroom vroom, a little off the side.

Vroom, Vroom, a little off the back.

Good for another 5,000 miles.

Daughter Daddy Dance 2015

The Princesses and their Daddies are all ready to party.

Pre party Lilly

Lilly and Daddy all cleaned up and ready to shake a tail feather!

And you'll never guess who we saw at the dance!

Lilly and Ellie dance the nite away.

Julianna had some cool moves too.

Dad's Nite at Pre-school

Lilly took Daddy to school to show him the ropes.

Pre-school was super fun, sporting tons of friends, toys, and learning opportunities.

Mrs. Gillen brings the story to life, encapsulating her audience's imagination.
The book was all about Daddy and Me.

Lil and Emma enjoy a glass of water and a nice cookie!
Well actually, since it was Dad's nite, cookies.

Disney's Frozen On Ice Blizzard

So we knew Elsa was coming to town, but we didn't know she was going to bring the ice and snow.
I guess we should have seen that coming.
To go or not to go.  Staring a blizzard in the eye, we decided to brave the elements.
As the crowd proves from above, we were not the only lunatics all in for Frozen.

Thank you Mimi and Bubba for the wonderful present!

Lilly and Kenneth are all bundled up.  Daddy's shovel is on standby in case we get snowed in at the UC.  As we left early, I had the best parking we've ever enjoyed, right next to Michael Jordan's statue.
The top speed on the journey was about 25mph.

Lilly and Daddy get ready to take it all in!

Kenneth cuddles up to his main squeeze to watch the big show.

Lilly is all lit up.
So, do you want to build a snowman?

More Valentine's Day Fun!

Won't you be our valentine?

So for my first valentine's day, I have to say I like it quite a bit.
Lot's of cute red and pink outfits have been floating my way.
And I am getting more hugs than ever.  Love it.  Let's do more of these holidays.

Stay cool this valentine's day

Mommy and Lilly decorate some heart shaped sugar cookies.  YUM!

To the tune of Shake It Off, Kenneth shakes out the sprinkles.
I pronounce these cookies delicious.

I love sugar.

And what do you know, at Trader Joe's, even the purple monkey found a valentine.

PS.  Happy Birthday to Selma, the red Camry, who turns 7 this fine day.

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day!
I spotted this heart of snow on our driveway this winter
and it made me think of you.
Be sweet.
Love, Lilly

Happy Groundhogs Day?

So what happens if your hog sees it's shadow?
