Welcome Baby Keira

It's raining baby photos!  So here are a few.
In the last pre-baby pic, Lilly cast a spell!
Bibbidi, Bobbidy…

…Boo!

And then there were 5.

The Grandparents swung by with Aunt Kelley.

Grammy and Uncle Dan brought sustenance in the form of Chicago Hot Dogs and their flashy smiles.

And here is our little girl.  The camera adds about 16 ounces.
This picture somehow makes her look big, and real life makes her look quite the opposite.

Keira, Mommy and Daddy takes one last look around before departing the hospital for home.
Let her amazing journey begin!

Hello World

Hello World!

My name is Keira Leigh and I look forward to meeting thee.
The past 10 months I have been laying low, but I decided it's time to go.
So Thursday morning it was false labor time!
Off to the Hospital we went, psych, it's not time yet.
Saturday was round 2, when out of the blue I said peek a boo.
My parents had plans for another hospital, but I said no no no.
Let's go over there instead, you know know know.

And as long as we are talking plans, parents best to get some helping hands.
Help should not be too hard to find as I am small and cute,
Just don't tell them that I kind of like to toot.

Mommy and Daddy, I look forward to getting to know you.
Kenneth and Lilly, you seem to be pretty fun too.
Kenneth it looks like you can share your toys,
And Lilly can you teach me about the boys?

As for the next few weeks, I plan to sleep, just not at the same time as you.
For the rest of you, let's hang out.  You know where I'll be without a doubt.

Keira

Ray Days

We had a great time celebrating with Nick, Ray and the rest of the family up north.

Perfect day for a wedding.  Everything lined up for them!

Howard takes our family picture.  Thank you Howard!

Molly the Explorer claims her territory.

The Mac Pack getting warmed up the nite prior.

And we had a coincidental encounter with some old family friends, Walter and Kathy.

Hello golf ball.  Good bye golf ball.

Dan, Leroy, Don, and Don hit the links the day of the wedding.

God sent me a little reminders of my favorite Chiquita.  Of all the bottles on the shelf, I blindly chose the one with her name on it.  :)

Ahh… notice the technique.  Kenny, Molly and Jean glide thru the waters.
Later that night, Kenny bellies up to the bar with his fellow professional kayakers.

Howard and Carol say cheese.

Kenny represents and the chicks flock to his sides.

Molly swipes Alexander's bib.  Got to protect the dress!

Lets make an Uncle Dan sandwich!

We came, we saw, we conquered.

June Fest

So flashing back really quick to June, as it was an action packed month, here are...
…the Dads,

the dancers,
the Daddy, under direct orders to practice for baby #3 from a feisty 4 year old,

and our favorite little cameraman.

In news of the weird, Emily received a very interesting present this year.
The well traveled world cup made its way to her graduation party.
Molly saw Lilly's dress and went ahead and switched her dress to match.  Cousins gotta stick together!

Outside, Kenneth takes the snap from William and readies to hand it off to his halfback Alexander.
This play has touchdown all over it!

Our family is getting bigger!

It's a bird… no wait… it's a plane… wait, that's Alexanders hand.

Speaking of hands, Lilly's turned into sponges!  On the plus side, the floors have never been cleaner.

Mommy's belly keeps getting better as Little Mac continues to grow.
Lilly has agreed to help Mommy with the baby by making Ba Bas and helping Baby build a tower.
Kenneth has agreed to teach the Baby about God, trucks, trains and cars.

Frozen

So perhaps you have heard of this movie Frozen?
Well Elsa and Anna came to town and Lilly was so happy to meet them.

In the hour long line, Lilly hangs with her princess buds to pass the time.

The 3 Princesses are ready to pop any day.
Kenneth and Daddy hit the park, while those silly girls do their princess thing.

Hmm, Daddy's should are too stinky.

Hmm, Daddy's shoes are too big.

Happy Fourth of July!

Happy 4th of July!
Our two little independents, hug it out for the holiday.

We kicked the day off with a lite 4 mile run.

Seriously, this is not a junior high girls race, I swear.  There are adults here somewhere.
28:18 this year for Daddy Mac.  Third Mile was tough, all up hill.

The Gibson clan, with Emily's substitute.
Kenny slung around the race, cheering on all those runners.
Sasa and friend got their picture taken by the press, so keep an eye out for her in the papers.

Hmmm.  This brother and sister think alike.

Next up… parade time!  Lilly stole Daddy's hat.

Lilly joined her other patriots to watch the unique parade.  Appearances were made by superman, captain jack sparrow, wrestlers, weird dudes wearing renaissance fighting gear, the jesse white tumblers, lots of 'honest' politicians, horses, a trolley, the HS cheerleaders and football teams and many more.

Lilly filled her bag with candy, thanks to her cousin Molly showing her the ropes.
Daddy's shoulder helped for hard to see parts, like the Jesse White tumblers.

And what do you know, Lilly found one of her favorite buddies.

After the parade, we went over to the neighbors for a barbecue.
How come the firefighters always get the chicks?

After properly filling our bellies with BBQ, we went to see some fireworks.
The Mac Pack, plus one clever photo bomber who was kind enough to smile.

Before the fireworks...

After the fireworks.  About right.

Happy 4th!!!
