We enjoyed a fun New Years Eve afternoon!
The past 3 years we have gone to a local pub that does a cute dinner and New Years Eve party that is VERY kid friendly. We enjoy getting together with our friends and their families. Who knew we would love a 4:00pm New Years Eve party!

Right before the count down and balloon drop....Lilly is unsure why there is so much screaming going on at this point.
After dinner we headed over to a friend's house. Each family got a paper lantern to decorate and write our 2013 wishes on. Lilly loved coloring it!
The dads were all in charge of lighting and sending off the lanterns. It was NOT an easy job...
All the kids LOVED watching and cheering for the lanterns!
Don't worry...the lantern caught enough air and lifted up quickly after its little dip. :)
