This summer Mother Erin has embarked on a brave journey known as potty training. Lilly, being the 2 year old, is who we decided to start with giving Kenneth a little more time to process the concept. Thus far, she likes her potty parties and is taking to her new activities quite nicely and in a predictably inconsistent manner. When the "big girl" concept doesn't motivate, stickers are brought into play, then jelly beans, then coloring and finally Dora the explorer. The kid can negotiate and is squeezing all she can out of us and her at the moment.
"Let's Potty!"
The Tempels made the trek to town, so Kenneth and Lilly got to hang with their Cousins.
Kenneth has been doing great and is always ready to smile.
Wyatt takes the hot rod for a spin.
Because we didn't think potty training would be difficult enough by itself, we decided to throw in the new big girl bed. Here you can see Lilly doing what she does in bed... not sleep. Actually, she uses her sleep time to work on her ballads and work on her range.
When not sleeping, Lilly enjoys peering out her window. Can you spy the Lilly fish in the picture above?
Goose... eat your heart out!
Tessa, our favorite four legged friend tries to beat the heat by laying low.
Can you guess where Lilly is?
We would have accepted "Under the Sea" or "The Zoo".
