Some catching up to do!

Luckily Don can update the blog on his phone, but we can finally share all the pictures on our camera that we have been accumulating!  :)

We really love our new home!  It has been fun unpacking and settling in.  I look forward to decorating and making it our own!  Lilly loves it too...she would like to give you a little mini tour...

This is our basement!  It is blue and has a laundry room next to it.  It has our TV and my new jump-a-roo that I love too!

Here is the kitchen!  I think this is one of mommy's favorites.  I like when she makes those yummy bottles in here!

This room is our living room.  It is still a work in progress.  Mommy and Daddy hope to get a nice couch in here (sorry Tessa your bed is moving) and another TV someday too.  I like the fun red walls.

Now you've seen this room before...it's MY room!  :)

Here is my big girl room.  Right now it is being used as our "staging area" before we hang pictures etc.  haha  My furniture is at Grandma and Bubba's house, and I can't wait for it to come to this house!

This is Mommy and Daddy's room.  They have a cool bathroom up here too, with a big tub that I will play in someday.

So what do you think so far?  Fun, right?!  :)

Here we are in the front yard.  Lots of plants and Mommy has been busy weeding.

This is our screened in porch in the back yard.  Can you tell who loves the patio and having a yard?  Tessa is one happy pup!  You can see Daddy's fun new purchase in the back ground...the grill!  We are looking forward to someday getting new patio furniture too.

The back of the house...

And the garage and basketball hoop...these are Daddy's favorites!  He hopes to one day put a putting green to the left of the garage in the yard.  I think that sounds fun...my own putt-putt play area!

Mommy can we go for our walk now?

After all the fun giving the tour it is time to sleep for the night. (Which Lilly is now doing consistently!)

LILLY IS ROLLING!
Yep!  Right before the move she started to show signs that it might happen soon.  Then one of her first nights here it happened!

First this is how I would find her napping.  She was so close, but couldn't figure out what to do with the arm underneath.

Then that night I checked the baby monitor to see why she was crying.....TADAAAHHHH!
She was not too happy about it (since she cannot roll back) but I left the poor girl to go get the camera.  (mean mommy)

Below are two early videos of Miss Lilly rolling...

We are so proud!  :)

HAPPY 4th of JULY!

We hope that everyone had a great July 4th!  We had a fun filled day packed with all kinds of excitement!

First we got up early to go and cheer on Daddy and ALL of the Gibsons in the Glen Ellyn Freedom Four race! (Cousin Molly started the race but a stroller wheel was acting up, so she joined us in the cheering section.)  Here Daddy is making the last curve to the finish line!  He is super fast!

Cousin Emily is in the front of the picture and Cousin Melissa is in the pink shorts catching up!
Go Girls Go!

Auntie Jean proudly watched her girls make the turn and gave us a little wave hello!

Go Kenny Go!  Kenny got some Go-Go Juice right at the end and made a mad dash to the finish!
If you look closely you can see all the Gibsons in this photo!  :)

Yay Uncle Keith!  So great to see all of our family do so well!

After congratulating our runners we went back home for Little Miss to have her morning nap.

We walked to the parade (we love the location of our new house!) and found out our very own Melissa won FIRST place in her age group for the race that morning!
WOW, WAY TO GO MELISSA!

Lilly loved the parade!

Lilly and Auntie Jean enjoying the day!

Uncle Keith told Lilly all the tricks on how to snatch the candy next year.

What a cute pair!

GREEN BEANS PLEASE!
Yep, our little munchkin is now eating green beans and squash!
Okay Mommy, I'm ready for that food now!

Yummm!
Unfortunately she has gotten smart and knows when I'm taking a picture now.  She had been licking around her mouth, but as soon as she saw the red light from the camera we got this silly face.  hahaha  :)
WHEW! This marathon blog is now complete!
Until next time...  :)
