Happy Halloween!!

It was the first Halloween in the new pad with the new dad,
the first with the new mum and cute Lil red one,
and everything went off without a hitch,
mainly due to the spells of one cute witch.

Maybe next year we'll have a theme,
but this year we matched like those orange striped tights.
The only other person that owns a pair of these that I know is Uncle Dan, but that's another story.

Here is Red and Red.  With a little spell, Lilly had her wings and
smile ready to charm the darkest of nights.

Rocker Da Da Da shows Lilly the Giraffe how to hang loose.

This Witch can stir one mean brew!!

Lilly fluttered over to visit Gammy and Bubba bringing smiles to their faces.

Great Grammy and Lil swapped stories about the good ol' days.

And here is Uncle Grammy who crafted the ladybug costume back in 2000 for a certain Emily-fish.  Molly also donned the ladybug costume for her 1st Halloween.
Perhaps, if we're lucky, Auntie Jean will throw us some snapshots of the
other little ladybugs for a stroll down memory lane.

Our costume of the year award goes to Tessa, who dressed up as a cat.

Just kidding, that is just Tessa's newest buddy Paisley.
Apparently cats & dogs can get along.
In Tessa's defense, I had the opportunity to meet Paisley,
and she is quite delightful.

The thought has crossed our mind that this mysterious cat could have been an evil witch in disguise.  Thus I have put Angel Erin on duty to guard the fort while Lilly and I get some shut-eye.  She looks lively for the night shift, don't you think?

We estimate we saw 60-70 trick-or-treaters, ranging from Little Bo Peep and her Sheep to Little Miss Sunshine and One Wild n Crazy Taco.

Here you can see the giant monster in our living room,
the little devil in the attic, and the werewolf.  Oddly enough
we had a haunting that very night.
Thus, the little devil and werewolf got evicted the next morning.

What would Halloween be without flaming gourds?  Really?

If you endured all my jibber-jabber here's a cute photo to end on.
Thank you Leslie for the great giraffe costume!
