It's a Boy!!! Meet Baby Kenneth Scott.
Thank you to everyone for all your positive thoughts, support, generous gifts and lasagna! Erin and I feel very blessed to have added another Mac to the Pack and to have such great family and friends. The fact that it is a boy also means that the McKenzie name will live on!!
Baby Kenneth Scott is an early riser and made his appearance on March 27th just before 6am. Just like his grandfather Kenneth, he just couldn't sleep in. Kenneth spent his first few hours hanging out, sleeping and drinking.
Mom is doing well and very proud of her little boy. The little boy is also extremely proud of his Mommy and thanked her for doing such a great job in taking care of her baby belly. Kenneth also looks forward to spending lots of nights hanging out with Mommy, drinking milk and squawking about the good old days.
Lilly-Fish was not fond of the actual hospital setting, but as soon as we broke free from the scary building she returned to her song-bird self. Below is a video of Lilly's rendition of "Oompa Loompa", performed a cappella on the car ride home.
So sure anyone can say they "love" someone but a kiss... that is something special. Here Lilly dons her first kiss on her Little Brother. I think she will make a fine Big Sister.
As for my Erin Leigh, I have been telling anyone that will listen for some time now, "she makes a good baby." March brought us more proof and for that we are counting our lucky stars.
